CHEYENNE COUNTY, Neb. -- A Texas woman is facing multiple charges following a traffic stop about six miles east of Sidney on Interstate 80 Sunday, April 14.

At about 7:20 p.m., a Nebraska State Trooper stopped a pickup truck for speeding on I-80 near milepost 65.

During the traffic stop, the trooper attempted to arrest the driver for Driving Under the Influence of Alcohol. The driver, Terri Griffin, 39, of Chandler, Texas, resisted arrest but was taken into custody on charges of Driving Under the Influence, Possession of an Open Alcohol Container, Resisting Arrest and Possession of a Loaded Shotgun in a Vehicle.
