Suspect identified in deadly structure fire

STERLING, Co. – A suspect has been identified in connection with the fire and the death of a 38-year-old Sterling male that occurred in the 300 block of Weston Ct. on June 12.
Brandon Thomas Harriman, 28, of Sterling, is wanted for First-Degree Murder and Arson.
Harriman is described as 6’1”, 245lbs, Brown Hair, Brown Eyes, with possibly a short to medium length beard. If sighted, do not approach Harriman and immediately contact 911 with the suspect’s location and any details you may have.
At about 1:02 a.m. on Thursday, June 12, Sterling Police officers, along with the Sterling Fire Department and the Logan County Sheriff's Office, responded to a reported structure fire in the 300 block of Weston Court in Sterling.
Upon arrival, First Responders found a trailer home fully engulfed in flames. While extinguishing the fire, a deceased person was discovered inside the residence.
The Sterling Police Department, with the assistance of the Colorado Bureau of Investigation (CBI) and State Fire Investigators, are actively investigating the fire and death as a criminal incident. It is believed this was an isolated incident involving individuals known to one another and there is no indication of an ongoing threat to the public.
Positive identification of the victim and cause of death are ongoing as the thorough and extensive investigation continues.
