'S'more' more 4-H Fall Carnival draws crowds
SIDNEY -- The 4-H Building at the Cheyenne County Fairgrounds was alive with youthful energy Saturday as the Cheyenne County 4-H Clubs held their fall carnival.
Titled "Smores fund with 4-H," the night included a wide variety of games and activities. There was a silent auction, raffle, food and fun for all ages.
Craig Bruner, president of the 4-H board, called the event a success.
"Tonight's been great. There's been a lot of kids come out. We've been able to have lots of people spend time with not only the 4-H groups but the various volunteer groups that have come out to help," he said Saturday.
The night also included a hamburger dinner with a free-will donation. The event also included many opportunities to support 4-H programs with the Silent Auction.
"We've been doing this for the last 10 years. This goes towards the 4-H Council. It helps fund us so that we can do all of the fair activities as well as all of the other educational activities throughout the year," he said.
