OMAHA, Neb. (AP) — Karmello Branch scored 20 points as Kansas City beat Omaha 73-66 on Saturday night.

Branch shot 5 of 9 from the field, including 4 for 5 from 3-point range, and went 6 for 6 from the free-throw line for the Roos (4-12, 1-1 Summit League). Jerome Palm added 14 points while going 6 of 9 and 2 of 3 from the free-throw line while they also had five rebounds. CJ Evans shot 5 of 15 from the field, including 2 for 3 from 3-point range, and went 2 for 3 from the line to also finish with 14 points.

Paul Djobet led the Mavericks (7-10, 0-2) in scoring, finishing with 16 points, eight rebounds and four assists. Grant Stubblefield added 14 points and two steals for Omaha. Tony Osburn also had 12 points.

Booth scores 19 in Colorado State's 70-60 win over Grand Canyon

PHOENIX (AP) — Carey Booth had 19 points and 12 rebounds in Colorado State's 70-60 victory over Grand Canyon on Saturday.

Augustinas Kiudulas scored 15 points, going 5 of 7 from the floor, including 2 for 4 from 3-point range, and 3 for 6 from the free-throw line for the Rams (10-4, 1-2 Mountain West Conference). Jevin Muniz shot 5 of 8 from the field, including 1 for 3 from 3-point range, and went 3 for 5 from the foul line to finish with 14 points, six rebounds and three steals.

The Antelopes (8-5, 1-1) were led by Makaih Williams, who posted 22 points. Nana Owusu-Anane added 13 points, seven rebounds, two steals and two blocks for Grand Canyon. Jaden Henley finished with 12 points and four assists.

Colorado State took the lead for good 15 seconds into the game and the score was 35-29 at halftime, with Booth racking up 10 points. Colorado State used a 16-0 run in the second half to build a 25-point lead at 56-31 with 12:38 left in the half before finishing off the win.

Williams' 31 lead Montana past Northern Colorado 88-79

MISSOULA, Mont. (AP) — Money Williams' 31 points led Montana over Northern Colorado 88-79 on Saturday.

Williams added five assists for the Grizzlies (8-7, 2-0 Big Sky Conference). Te'Jon Sawyer scored 15 points and added seven rebounds. Grant Kepley shot 3 of 7 from the field and 6 of 8 from the free-throw line to finish with 14 points.

Brock Wisne led the Bears (10-5, 0-2) in scoring, finishing with 22 points, eight rebounds and four assists. Quinn Denker added 14 points, seven assists and six rebounds for Northern Colorado. Ibu Yamakazi finished with 14 points.

Isaiah Johnson scores 19 for Colorado in 95-89 win over Arizona State to open Big 12 play

TEMPE, Ariz. (AP) — Isaiah Johnson scored 19 points and Sebastian Rancik added 18 for Colorado in a 95-89 win over Arizona State in the Big 12 conference opener for both teams on Saturday.

The Buffaloes (11-3) went into the break up by 10 and maintained control for the majority of the second half. A 10-0 run by the Sun Devils (9-5) gave them an 81-80 lead with 3:50 left to play, Arizona State's first lead since 13:28 into the game.

Arizona State found itself in foul trouble for the rest of the game, resulting in 14 points from the line for Colorado in the final minutes. Anthony Johnson hit a 3-pointer with 22.6 seconds left to make it a one-score game for the Sun Devils, but another foul sent Johnson to the line for the Buffaloes to keep them ahead.

Colorado shot 81% (25 of 31) from the free-throw line in the second half.

Barrington Hargress scored 17 for Colorado and Bangot Dak added 12 points and 10 rebounds.

Maurice Odum led Arizona State with 21 points and 12 assists. Massamba Diop and Johnson both scored 20 and Allen Mukeba added 16 points before fouling out.

Jones scores 14 as UNLV defeats Air Force 67-39

LAS VEGAS (AP) — Tyrin Jones' 14 points helped UNLV defeat Air Force 67-39 on Saturday.

Jones added six rebounds for the Rebels (7-6, 2-0 Mountain West Conference). Dra Gibbs-Lawhorn scored 12 points, going 5 of 10 (2 for 5 from 3-point range). Howard Fleming Jr. shot 4 for 7, including 1 for 3 from beyond the arc to finish with 10 points.

Lucas Hobin finished with 11 points and two steals for the Falcons (3-11, 0-3). Air Force also got 10 points and seven rebounds from Caleb Walker. Kam Sanders finished with seven points. The Falcons extended their losing streak to seven straight.

UNLV entered halftime up 35-20. Jones paced the team in scoring in the first half with 10 points. UNLV outscored Air Force in the second half by 13 points, with Gibbs-Lawhorn scoring a team-high nine points after the break.

Buljan's 25 help New Mexico knock off Wyoming 78-58

ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. (AP) — Tomislav Buljan had 25 points and 12 rebounds as New Mexico beat Wyoming 78-58 on Saturday.

Uriah Tenette went 5 of 15 from the field (3 for 5 from 3-point range) to add 14 points for the Lobos (11-3, 2-1 Mountain West Conference). Luke Haupt went 4 of 7 from the field to finish with 10 points, while adding five rebounds and three steals.

Leland Walker led the Cowboys (10-4, 1-2) in scoring, finishing with 14 points. Nasir Meyer added nine points, five assists and two steals for Wyoming. Gavin Gores also had eight points and six rebounds.

New Mexico took the lead with 2:35 left in the first half and did not trail again. Buljan led the Lobos with 13 points in the first half to help put them up 34-31 at the break. New Mexico pulled away with an 8-0 run in the second half to extend a six-point lead to 14 points. The Lobos outscored Wyoming by 17 points in the final half, as Buljan led the way with a team-high 12 second-half points.
