Christine Anne Booth, 78 years of age, of Bertrand, Nebraska, passed away on Saturday, January 3, 2026, at Phelps Memorial Health Center in Holdrege. Christine was born in Detroit, Michigan, on November 23, 1947, the oldest of three children, born to Frank Jr. and Molly (Brown) Craig. She graduated from Rutgers High School in Rutgers, Michigan, with the class of 1966.

On February 6, 1970, Christine was united in marriage to Rick Booth on the military base in Fort Island, Hawaii, and to this union, one child was born, Sean. The couple started their marriage together in Hawaii, and when Rick went to Vietnam, Christine moved to Long Beach, California. After that, they lived in Sidney, Nebraska, and Salisbury, Missouri, before settling in Bertrand, Nebraska. Christine worked as a Para Educator in the Schools in each of the towns they lived in.

Christine always enjoyed reading, sewing, and gardening. She was a member of the quilt guild for many years.

Christine was preceded in death by her parents; her in-laws; and one brother-in-law, Paul Booth.

Christine is survived by her husband, Rick Booth of Bertrand; her son, Sean Booth of Hastings, Nebraska; one brother, Frank “Skip” Craig III; one sister, Rebecca Craig; one brother-in-law, Dennis Booth; two sisters-in-law: Beverly Bartnicki; and Rebecca Lloyd; and a host of nieces and nephews, other relatives, and friends.

There will be no visitation or memorial book signing. The family is honoring Christine’s wish for cremation. A memorial service will be held at a later date.

A memorial has been established in Christine’s honor, and kindly suggested to the family for later designation.
