Jamie L. Cleveland passed away in Lincoln, Nebraska, on January 4, 2026, at the age of 75.  Memorial services will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Thursday, January 15, 2026 at the Cantrell Funeral Home in Kimball with Pastor Randy Bohac officiating, burial will be held in the Kimball Cemetery.  Friends may visit www.cantrellfh.com to share stories and condolences with the family.  Memorials may be given in her memory to the Panhandle Humane Society.  The services for Jamie have been entrusted to the Cantrell Funeral Home.

 She was born on August 7, 1950, in Oskaloosa, Iowa, the daughter of Tom and Nellie (Tuttle) Reed. Jamie grew up in Kimball, Nebraska, where she graduated from Kimball High School in 1968. She was married to Dennis Cleveland, and they had three daughters: Kerry, Misty, and Jessica. Although Jamie and Dennis later divorced in 1992, she remained in Kimball, continuing her life as a homemaker and working various small jobs in the area.

Later in life, Jamie moved to Sioux County, Nebraska and then to Scottsbluff, where she lived until her passing. She had a deep love for reading, shopping, traveling, and especially enjoyed her cruises to Hawaii and Tahiti. Jamie also adored old-time black-and-white movies, horse riding, and cherishing moments with her children, grandson, family, and friends. She was known for her warmth, grace, and joyful laughter.

Jamie is survived by her daughters, Kerry (Kraig) Baker of Kimball, NE., Misty Cleveland and Jessica Cleveland both of Scottsbluff, NE; sister Nikki Grimes of Earlham, IA and grandson Keaton Fisher of Kearney, NE.  She was preceded in death by her father Tom Reed and her mother and step-father Nellie and Joe Hernandez and brother-in-law Richard Grimes.
