Danielson lifts North Dakota past Omaha 76-73 in OT
GRAND FORKS, N.D. (AP) — York native Brady Danielson's three-point play with 20 seconds left in overtime allowed North Dakota to knock off Omaha 76-73 on Saturday.
Matt Norman had 21 points and was 7 of 19 shooting, including 4 for 10 from distance, and went 3 for 4 from the line for the Fightin' Hawks (10-17, 4-10 Summit League). Tsotne Tsartsidze scored 17 points and added nine rebounds. Danielson shot 5 for 10 (2 for 7 from 3-point range) and 3 of 5 from the free throw line to finish with 15 points.
The Mavericks (7-20, 3-12) were led by Frankie Fidler, who posted 25 points. Tony Osburn added 11 points for Omaha. In addition, Dylan Brougham had eight points and eight rebounds. The Mavericks extended their losing streak to nine in a row.

Both teams next play Thursday. North Dakota visits Oral Roberts while Omaha hosts South Dakota.
Skunberg scores 30, North Dakota State beats Denver 78-70
FARGO, N.D. (AP) — Boden Skunberg's 30 points led North Dakota State over Denver 78-70 on Saturday.
Skunberg also added seven rebounds for the Bison (11-15, 8-6 Summit League). Grant Nelson scored 13 points and added 11 rebounds and eight assists. Damari Wheeler-Thomas added 13 points.
The Pioneers (13-15, 4-11) were led by Tommy Bruner, who posted 18 points and five assists. Lukas Kisunas added 15 points and seven rebounds for Denver. Touko Tainamo had 12 points.
Carlson, Anthony guide Utah to 73-62 victory over Colorado
SALT LAKE CITY (AP) — Branden Carlson and Marco Anthony scored 17 points apiece and Utah cruised to a 73-62 victory over Colorado on Saturday night.
Carlson sank 7 of 13 shots from the floor for the Utes (17-9, 10-5 Pac-12 Conference). He added four rebounds and blocked three shots. Anthony hit 6 of 13 shots with a 3-pointer and grabbed eight rebounds. Ben Carlson had 10 points and eight rebounds.
KJ Simpson totaled 14 points, five rebounds and five assists to pace the Buffaloes (14-12, 6-9). Julian Hammond III scored 11 points off the bench and fellow reserve Luke O'Brien totaled 10 points, six rebounds and three assists.
Branden Carlson had eight points to lead a balanced attack in the first half and Utah led 38-32 at intermission. The Utes jumped out to a 7-0 lead and pushed their advantage to 21-10 on a dunk by Carlson at the 10:52 mark. Hammond scored seven to help Colorado get within six at halftime. Utah shot 52% overall and made 5 of its 9 3-pointers. The Buffaloes stayed within striking distance by scoring 10 points off of six Utah turnovers.
Colorado's Lawson Lovering scored the first basket of the second half. Branden Carlson answered with a three-point play, a dunk and a jumper before finishing off a 12-2 run with a 3-pointer to put the Utes up 50-36 with 14:28 left to play. The Buffaloes got no closer than 10 from there.
Utah shot 49% overall to Colorado's 37%. The Utes, who entered play having hit double-digit 3-pointers in back-to-back games for the first time since the 2018-19 season, sank 6 of 17 against the Buffaloes, who made 4 of 18.

Knecht has 16, Northern Colorado beats Sacramento St. 70-54
GREELEY, Colo. (AP) — Dalton Knecht had 16 points in Northern Colorado's 70-54 win against Sacramento State on Saturday night.
Knecht also had nine rebounds for the Bears (10-16, 5-9 Big Sky Conference). Matt Johnson scored 16 points while shooting 7 for 12, including 2 for 3 from beyond the arc. Riley Abercrombie was 4-of-9 shooting (4 for 8 from distance) to finish with 12 points.
The Hornets (12-14, 5-8) were led by Callum McRae, who recorded 14 points and 16 rebounds. Gianni Hunt added 11 points for Sacramento State. In addition, Cameron Wilbon finished with 10 points.
