GRAND ISLAND, Neb. -- Little Feet on the Farm is back for another year and is aiming to teach children about where their food comes from.

Kids between the ages of two and 12 are getting to experience agriculture and how it impacts their daily lives through an immersive field-to-fork concept in Grand Island.

Hall County Ag Committee member Annette Schimmer said it's important to teach children when they're younger because they grasp concepts better.

“I feel like it makes them go home and talk to their parents and talk about where the food comes from,“ said Schimmer.

Little Feet on the Farm will be open Friday from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m., Saturday 12:00 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. and Sunday from 12:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. at the Tom Dinsdale Automotive Cattle Barn building.

The activities are free of charge.
