Kimball to host Trunk-or-Treat Halloween night
KIMBALL -- Any community member or business can sign up to hand out treats at the Kimball Trunk-or-Treat on Halloween night.
The route will start at the Transit Building and head north on Chestnut Street, cross the street and go up the other side, ending at Kwik Stop. The event will run from 4 – 6 p.m.
Tammy Land with Plummer Insurance, which is sponsoring the event, said everyone is invited to decorate their trunk or a table downtown whether it's businesses, families, or groups of people who want to get together.
Plummer Insurance will choose their favorite decorated trunk or table and award them with a cash prize.
Several businesses have signed up to participate so far, and a few of them are Kimball Health Services, Curly’s Machine Works and The Heritage Cafe.
“It’s a good, safe space for kids to come Trick-or-Treat,” Land said.
The deadline to reserve your spot is Oct. 25. Call Tammy Land or Plummer Insurance at 308-235-2821.
