The Sidney Seniors scored in every inning Wednesday night in Gordon to blow out the Sheridan County Senior Regulators in five innings, 10-1. Sawyer Dickman and Nolan Hofrock each went three for four at the plate, and Luke Kasten drove in three runs, as Sidney pounded out 13 hits in the win.
Tommy Ellwanger (2?) and Austin Lulf (2?) combined on the mound for a six hitter while striking out nine Regulators in 5 innings.
In the first game, the Sheridan County Junior Regulators scored four times in the bottom of the fourth inning, on three hits to tie the game at 4-4. The big blow coming on a 2-run inside-the-park home run by P.J. Lynch with one out.
Sidney responded with three runs in the top of the fifth and never looked back as the Sidney Juniors improved to 14-3 on the season with an 8-4 win.
Luke Kasten (3?), Ty Stettner (2) and Sawyer Dickman (1?) combined on the mound for four runs on five hits, striking out 14 and walking just three.
