The upcoming missile project in western Nebraska and southeastern Wyoming has the people behind it looking for help from local businesses. 

Northrop Grumman has the contract from the United States Air Force (USAF) to complete the modernization of the nation's missile arsenal. 

The project, known as the Ground Based Strategic Deterrent (GBSD), is set to begin in the mid-2020s and will bring many people to the area. 

Northrop Grumman and the USAF will need assistance from all types of businesses to complete project, ranging from restaurants to heavy equipment sales businesses to auto repair and storage facilities.

The country is investing $86 billion total into the project. The current missile system has been in place since the 1960s.
