OMAHA, Neb. (AP) — Rocky Kreuser had a season-high 25 points as North Dakota State narrowly beat Omaha 71-67.

Omaha trailed throughout the final 9 1/2 minutes but drew within 66-64 with 17 seconds remaining before Kreuser and Tyree Eady closed it out by making five of six free throws.

Nick Ferrarini had 12 points for the Mavericks.

Bradley, Aztecs hand No. 20 Colorado State 1st loss, 79-49

SAN DIEGO (AP) — Matt Bradley scored a season-high 26 points and San Diego State handed No. 20 Colorado State its first loss of the season, 79-49 in a game that wasn’t supposed to be played until March 1.

Chad Baker-Mazara added 14 points for SDSU, which is now 10-3 and 2-0 in the Mountain West. The Aztecs outscored the Rams 43-17 in the second half for their largest victory margin ever against a ranked team.

Colorado State had been one of three undefeated teams left in Division I coming into Saturday.

Fowler carries Sacramento St. past N. Colorado 85-71

GREELEY, Colo. (AP) — Bryce Fowler had 30 points as Sacramento State got past Northern Colorado 85-71. Daylen Kountz led the Bears on Saturday with 25 points.

Hunt, Porter lead Denver romp past North Dakota 93-74

DENVER (AP) — KJ Hunt and Coban Porter scored 20 points apiece as Denver topped North Dakota 93-74. Paul Bruns led the Fighting Hawks on Saturday with 20 points and nine rebounds.
