Sidney schools are teaming up with The Missoula Children’s Theatre to put on a play called “The Emperor’s New Clothes” this weekend.

"Emperor's New Clothes" is an exciting play that any school age child can audition for. 1st grade to 12th grade are all welcome.

77 kids showed up to audition for the play, but there are only 64 spots available in the play.

The kids that do get chosen will practice everyday of the week until show day this weekend. It is a lot of hard work rehearsing every weekend but it will be worth it when it all comes together this weekend.

Missoula Theatre Directors, Nickela Roomy and Christina Wilson, are excited to meet the kids and see the show.

“My favorite part is show day, the kids just get so excited, especially the little ones.. To see it all come together and see them all finally remember their lines, that’s always my favorite part” Wilson says

The shows will be Friday at 1 and 9 pm, and Saturday at 7 pm at the Sidney High School Auditorium.
