The Potter-Dix Coyotes took on the South Platte Knights Thursday night at home in the D2-11 subdistrict championship.

Star player for Potter-Dix, Luke Kasten helped the coyotes stay in the lead for the entire game.

Knights players Ethan Richman and Jate Saults worked hard to get as many rebounds as they could for South Platte.

The Coyotes held a 20 point lead at the end of third period.

The knights fought back hard trailing the Coyotes the whole fourth period.

Knights player, Colton Moorhead scored the last layup for South Platte.

Knights ended up 16 behind the Coyotes with the final score being 56 to 40.

The coyotes now have a record of 20-3, and advance to a district final game with a berth in the state tournament on the line.

Potter-dix will face Mullen in Hershey Tuesday, March 1st 7 p.m. CST and 6 p.m. MST.
