Disturbance leads to chase, gun discharge, arrests in Gering

GERING, Neb.-- Two brothers are facing felony charges after an attack and chase on Sunday.

A woman and a man were in her van when she saw her ex-boyfriend, 36-year-old Anthony Gonzales, and his 31-year-old brother Leonard in a pickup, barreling toward the couple.
The woman reports she tried to drive away, but the two cars collided as Gonzales cut her off.
Still, she kept driving until she reached the parking lot of Fresh Foods, while on the phone with 911.
Her passenger got out as and Anthony Gonzales shattered their vehicle door window, chasing the passenger of the van, and fighting him physically.
According to the woman, a gunshot was then heard.
Police found a handgun on the brothers during the investigation, and have since arrested both suspects.
