Sedgwick County authorities arrest North Platte man on child exploitation charges

SEDGWICK COUNTY - A North Platte man was arrested Wednesday in Sedgwick County, Colo. on felony charges of sexual exploitation of a child.
According to the Sedgwick County Sheriff's Office, Jimmy Weaver, 34, is accused of arranging a meeting with an adolescent female to engage in a sexual encounter. Weaver arrived in Sedgwick County to meet with the female and was taken into custody without incident.
Weaver is charged with felony counts of enticement of a child, internet sexual exploitation of a child, internet luring of a child, attempted sexual assault of a child, attempted contributing to the delinquency of a minor and possession of drug paraphernalia.
He also had active warrants in Sedgwick County on internet sexual exploitation of a child charges.
Weaver is being held in jail without bond.
