STERLING, Colo. -- The Northern Colorado community is coming together to raise money for Blake Pavey and his family.

Kaleena Connie De Los Santos said Pavey survived a gunshot to the head. De Los Santos is communicating with Pavey's family and said he is in recovery and seems to be doing well.

De Los Santos set up a charity co-ed softball tournament for Pavey with the hashtag Bulletproof Blake. The tournament will be held at Pioneer Park on August 27th and 28th.

It costs $300 for a team to register and wrist bands to enter are $10. There will be raffle prizes and a $20 home run Derby. All proceeds will go to Pavey and his family.

To register contact Kaleena Connie De Los Santos on Facebook or call her at (970) 520-1311, email [email protected]

De Los Santos said there are already eight teams registered.
