OSHKOSH, Neb. -- A 45-year-old Panhandle man was sentenced to several months in prison for meth-related charges.

Jeremy Davis of Oshkosh was sentenced to 70 months in prison for the distribution of 50 grams or more of methamphetamine. 

Davis was sentenced on Friday. After his release from prison will serve a four-year term of supervised release. 

Officials said the Western Nebraska Narcotics Group used a confidential informant to purchase meth from Davis.

On March 5, 2020, the confidential informant purchased 28 grams of meth from Davis, and on March 9, 2020, the same confidential informant also purchased 61 grams of meth also from Davis.

This case was investigated by the Nebraska State Patrol and the WING Task Force.
