Rural Nebraskan girls get picture with track gold medalists

STRATTON, Neb. -- A pair of western Nebraska girls got even more than they could have asked for at the track and field world championships.
Dundy County Stratton students Abi and Clara Spargo said they traveled 21 hours to take a picture with 10-time U.S. National Champion, Allyson Felix.
The Spargoss drove 21 hours from Nebraska to Hayward Field in Eugene, O?re. for the World Athletics Championship over the weekend. The Championship tookplace from July 15th until July 24th.
The girls got their photo with Felix and many more pictures with other World Champions including; Noah Lyles, Valarie Allman, Talitha Diggs, Shaunae Miller-Uibo, Wayde van Niekerk, Mondo Duplantis, Abby Steiner, Sanya Richards-Ross, Ato Boldon, and Christian Taylor.

A highlight of the girl's photos is the picture with Allyson Felix. This was Felix's last world competition. Felix has more medals from the World Championship than any other athlete. ?Thirteen out of her 18 total medals are gold.
