SIDNEY, Neb. -- An emergency system in the Nebraska Panhandle has been experiencing issues early Wednesday morning.

According to Cheyenne County 911, the county received a phone call from AT&T making them aware of problems with the text-to-911 service.

AT&T reportedly told Cheyenne County officials that there is no estimated time frame for when it will be fixed and back in service.

Anyone needing emergency care is advised to call 911 instead.
