BRIDGEPORT - Aubrey Evans had 18 kills and 2 blocks to help the Garden County volleyball team go 2-0 at the Bridgeport Triangular Tuesday.

The Eagles swept both Kimball and Bridgeport in two sets with a total of 45 kills, 6 blocks and 7 ace serves.  

The Bulldogs swept Kimball to finish 1-1. Brooklyn Mohrman led the team in kills with 11. She also added a block and an ace serve. The Bulldogs had 35 kills, 9 blocks and 8 aces in their pair of matches.

Despite Kimball falling in both matches, Jayden Paxton had an impressive 13 kills, a block and an ace. The Longhorns finished the triangular with 27 kills, 3 blocks and 8 aces. 

Kimball falls to 0-5 and will play at Potter-Dix (4-0) on Thursday. Garden County improves to 5-2 and are at home against Minatare (0-5) on Thursday. Bridgeport remains at .500 this season with a record of 3-3. They'll host a round-robin tournament on Saturday.
