Report: Bus crash in southwest Nebraska send children to hospital

IMPERIAL - The Chase County sheriff's office is investigating a crash involving a school bus full of children and semi-tractor-trailer Tuesday afternoon.
The sheriff's office says the two-vehicle accident occurred on Spur 15 Highway between Champion and Imperial.
According to witnesses, the school bus, with 11 children on board, tipped on its side. One grandmother said her grandchild was in Chase County Hospital with a badly-hurt back, memory loss, and waiting for a CT Scan.
Five helicopters and one plane landed in Imperial to transfer patients to larger hospitals from the Chase County Hospital.
The driver of the semi-tractor-trailer was not seriously injured.
