LAHAINA, Hawaii (AP) — Oumar Ballo dominated inside with 30 points and 13 rebounds for No. 14 Arizona, which held off No. 10 Creighton 81-79 to win the Maui Invitational for the third time.

The combination of the unstoppable 7-foot, 260-pound Ballo and his speedy, talented supporting cast was just enough for the Wildcats to remain undefeated at 6-0.

Kerr Kriisa added 13 points and nine assists, Azuolas Tubelis had 12 points and Courtney Ramey scored 10.

Ryan Nembhard scored 20 for Creighton, which dropped to 6-1. It was trying to beat a ranked opponent for the third straight day.

Huefner's 22 help Sam Houston take down South Dakota 80-49

CYPRESS LAKE, Fla. (AP) — Led by Cameron Huefner's 22 points, the Sam Houston Bearkats defeated the South Dakota Coyotes 80-49 on Wednesday.

The Bearkats are now 6-0 on the season, while the Coyotes fell to 3-3.

Vander Zwaag scores 22, Air Force downs MVSU 64-51

COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. (AP) — Camden Vander Zwaag’s 22 points helped Air Force defeat Mississippi Valley State 64-51.

Vander Zwaag also contributed three blocks for the Falcons. Corbin Green scored 13 points and added five rebounds, four steals, and three blocks.

Alvin Stredic Jr. led the Delta Devils (1-6) in scoring, finishing with 12 points and 12 rebounds. Terry Collins added 11 points for Mississippi Valley State. Kadar Waller put up 11 points.

Smith scores 19, Denver defeats IUPUI 86-64

NEW ORLEANS (AP) — Led by Tevin Smith's 19 points, the Denver Pioneers defeated the IUPUI Jaguars 86-64 on Wednesday night.

Jlynn Counter led the Jaguars in scoring, finishing with 16 points.

The Pioneers improved to 4-1 with the win and the Jaguars fell to 1-4.
