DENTON, Texas (AP) — Led by Abou Ousmane's 19 points, the North Texas Mean Green defeated the Omaha Mavericks 75-45 on Saturday night.

Frankie Fidler finished with 14 points to lead Omaha.

The Mean Green are now 6-2 on the season, while the Mavericks moved to 3-6.

Harrison scores 21, Grand Canyon knocks off Wyoming 66-58

LARAMIE, Wyo. (AP) — Rayshon Harrison’s 21 points helped Grand Canyon defeat Wyoming 66-58.

Harrison shot 6 for 16 (3 for 9 from 3-point range) and 6 of 7 from the free throw line for the Antelopes (7-2). Gabe McGlothan scored 14 points and added five rebounds. Josh Baker scored 11.

Jake Kyman finished with 16 points and six rebounds for the Cowboys (3-5).

Kountz scores 27, Northern Colorado beats Colorado State

FORT COLLINS, Colo. (AP) — Led by Daylen Kountz's 27 points, the Northern Colorado Bears defeated the Colorado State Rams 88-83 on Saturday night.

Patrick Cartier finished with 23 points for the Rams.

The Bears are now 4-5 on the season, while the Rams dropped to 6-3.

Saterfield, Parker both have 24 in Portland State's win

PORTLAND, Ore. (AP) — Led by 24 points apiece by Jorell Saterfield and Cameron Parker, the Portland State Vikings defeated the Air Force Falcons 68-64 on Saturday night.

Rytis Petraitis finished with 22 points for Air Force.

The Vikings are now 5-4 on the season, while the Falcons dropped to 5-4.

South Dakota wins 69-68 over BYU

SALT LAKE CITY (AP) — Led by Kruz Perrott-Hunt's 26 points, the South Dakota Coyotes defeated the BYU Cougars 69-68.

Rudi Williams led BYU with 20 points.

The Coyotes improved to 5-4 with the win and the Cougars fell to 5-4.

Clowney, No. 11 Alabama recover to beat South Dakota St

TUSCALOOSA, Ala. (AP) — Freshman Noah Clowney’s breakout game — 22 points, nine rebounds, four assists and a steal — helped No. 11 Alabama recover from blowing a 20-point lead and beat South Dakota State 78-65.

Clowney shot 8 of 17, including 5 of 12 on 3s, in his highest-scoring game of the season. Alabama is 7-1. The Crimson Tide led 37-17 with 6 1/2 minutes left in the first half.

South Dakota State rallied to go ahead 51-50 on Alex Arians’ 3-pointer with 11 1/2 minutes remaining. Charlie Easley and Arians each scored 17 points for the Jackrabbits, who are 3-6.
