VALENTINE, Neb. -- Authorities in northwest Nebraska are looking for a suspect in a hit-and-run that happened sometime during the snow storms. 

The Valentine Police Department said someone had driven through the cemetery fence at Green and C Streets, and the fence as well as a tree sustained damage.

VPD said the vehicle fled the scene, and the vehicle should have noticeable damage to the front end. 

Police said the vehicle that fled appears to be blue.
