In 1982, John and Marian traveled to Hawaii and Queensland, Australia to visit their daughter.  After retirement John and Marian enjoyed travel to Europe, Alaska, Nashville, Branson, New England, Las Vegas and many other locations.  Marian enjoyed crocheting and watching the Colorado Rockies baseball games.
