Mickey was born on September 12, 1953 in McLaughlin, SD.  Her parents were Tilghman and Helen (Harriet) Johnson.

Mickey attended McIntosh Public Schools where she met the love of her life Henry “Steve” Uhrig.  The duo graduated in 1971 from McIntosh High School and a year later on November 4, 1972, they were happily united in marriage in Morristown, SD.   They moved to Douglas, WY, where Steve worked in the oil fields in 1973.  Steve later took a job with Geiger’s Oil Field and moved with Mickey in tow to Sidney, NE in 1977 where they have remained ever since.

Mickey was a stay-at-home mom and raised five children with lots of laughs, games, the best meals, puzzles days, but most of all love.  She enjoyed camping trips, dog sitting, her coffee, and holidays with her family.  Mickey introduced her love of music to all her kids and a typical Friday night consisted of dance-off parties in the middle of the big picture window.  She was truly the greatest wife and her kid's biggest fan.

Survivors include her husband Steve, brother Sam Johnson, her children Seasons, Cody and his wife Corine, Austin and significant other Karisa, Tanasia and her husband Zach, and Delaney. Grandchildren Trace, Dawson, Connor, Trasyn, Alora and soon-to-be great-grandchild Kaizer.

Preceded in death by her parents Tilghman (Big Mickey) and Helen Johnson, and brothers, Terry-Lee, David, Ronnie, Donnie, and Bruce. Sisters, Sharon and Terry-Lynn.
