SIDNEY -- The Cheyenne County Commissioners are scheduled to meet 8 a.m. Monday, February 6 at the commissioners meeting room.

The agenda will include presentation of a plaque for 35 years membership with the Nebraska Intergovernmental Risk Management Association. The Cheyenne County Fair Board is also expected to present a proposal for a beer garden at the Fair Grounds, and seek approval for alternate Fair Board members.

Michelle McMillen will also present a proposal of tree planting at the fair grounds by 4-H members. Laura Narjes and Craig Bruner will present a request to use the fairgrounds for the 4-H shooting program.

Jason Juracek will be seeking a  Special  Designated  Liquor license for the Sidney Shooting Park annual banquet. 

Cheyenne County Assessor Jordan Hayek will seek approval of a statement of work for the GIS program for the county assessor, and approval of a appraisal services with Pritchard & Associate.

County Attorney Paul Schaub will present two requests for county assistance for county burial, and review and approve submission of annual report on Asset Forfeiture Program to the U.S. Department of Justice.

Bill Sydow, chairman of the Planning and Zoning Commission, will present changes to the commission's regulations, Communications Director Heidi Gillespie is expected to talk on ARPA funds, Tourism Director Kendra Mitchell will be present regarding Tourism Board members and transferal of funds, and Emergency Manager Ron Leal will meet with the commissioners regarding price increases for the warning sirens at Brownson and Lorenzo.

The commissioners are also expected to discuss LB397, a bill that could move the Nebraska Game and Parks headquarters to Sidney.
