Programs close for anticipated storm
Communities are preparing for the snowstorm due to hit the Panhandle region tonight into tomorrow morning.

Sidney Schools call today "Remote Learning," Prairie West Church in Potter cancels Ash Wednesday
PANHANDLE -- Communities are preparing for the snowstorm due to hit the Panhandle region tonight into tomorrow morning.
Leyton Schools had scheduled Wednesday off because of the MAC speech tournament. The competition has been moved to Saturday and the schools have decided to retain the schedule in consideration of the weather.
The Sidney E-Free AWANA program has been rescheduled to March 1.
The Chadron community is bracing for another round of snow. The Chadron State College campus will be closed; residence halls and dining halls will remain open. City transit will not be running Wednesday and Thursday. Chadron Public Schools will be closed Wednesday as well.
Chadron Christian Church also announced no youth group Wednesday.
The cities of Gering, Kimball, Scottsbluff, Terrytown, Sidney and the village of Morrill have announced snow emergencies.
Sioux County Public Schools in Harrison will be closed Wednesday.
Bridgeport Schools have postponed C-SHOP scheduled for Wednesday. Staff are working on rescheduling and will inform the community on the later date.
