SCOTTSBLUFF, Neb. (KNEP) - Scottsbluff City Council has voted to change its utility collections.

On Tuesday, the Scottsbluff City Council voted to change to a monthly bill collection instead of bi-monthly. The change will not increase the rates.

“The rate helps the citizens budget better and I just think it makes a lot of sense,” mentioned city manager Kevin Spencer.

The council also discussed and voted on allowing the Panhandle Public Health District to begin lead paint testing across Scottsbluff.

If people have questions they can contact the Scottsbluff City hall at 308-632-4136.
