OGALLALA –  The Indians, who led by five points at half, finished the third period on a roll and maintained the momentum in the fourth quarter for a 65-43 win over Sidney. Ogallala stays undefeated at 25-0 while Sidney drops to 19-6.

The Red Raiders were led by Micah Schneider with 13 points while Isak Doty added 10 points. The Indians had four players in double figures paced by Jeron Gager’s 20 points while Caden Rezac contributed 15 points off the bench. Harry Caskey had 11 points and freshman Sawyer Smith chipped in 10 points.

Both teams will play in a District Final on Monday or Tuesday for a state tournament berth. Opponents, dates, and game times have yet to be determined as some subdistricts were postponed on Thursday due to the weather. Stay tuned to News Channel Nebraska for the latest District Final information.
