Kimball County Scrap Tire Cleanup continues through Saturday

KIMBALL -- Kimball County residents are encouraged to bring unwanted tires to the City of Kimball Landfill Friday and Saturday, April 21 and 22.

KIMBALL -- Kimball County residents are encouraged to bring unwanted tires to the City of Kimball Landfill Friday and Saturday, April 21 and 22.

The landfill is scheduled to be open 7:30 a.m. to 12 noon and 1 p.m. to 3:30 p.m.

Tires will be accepted on a first-come, first-served basis, and proof of Kimball County residency is required. Commercial tire haulers are not eligible.

Tires on rims will not be accepted. Residents will be required to unload and give a count of tires when arriving at the landfill. 

If you will be disposing of more than 50 tires, call the Landfill in advance at 30-235-3639.

The Scrap Tire Cleanup is funded by the Nebraska Department of Environmental Quality.
