Jimmy L's celebrates with Cheyenne County Chamber ribbon cutting
SIDNEY -- A food trailer known for its brisket and pulled pork nachos, and a variety of location foods, celebrated it's new physical location in Sidney Friday afternoon.
Jimmy L's Barbecue opened a winter-time brick and mortar location at 1412 10th Ave. The location offered meaty lunches and dinners from meatloaf sandwiches for lunch to prime rib and smoked ribs for dinner.
"I just want to say thank you everybody for the great support this winter," Owner and Chef Jim Lenzen said. "We'll be back next winter to do this again."
Their meats are also been available by the pound. Jimmy L's also offers choice desserts at the 10th Avenue location.
In Friday's ribbon cutting celebration, Lenzen expressed his appreciation for the community support and encouraged everyone to return to the location next winter. Lenzen was presented a plaque from the Cheyenne County Chamber of Commerce recognizing their business and cut a ribbon to officially mark the grand opening.
Jimmy L's will be busy this summer with events, including the Alliance Car Show on June 3, Sidney Gold Rush Days on June 10, Kimball FFA Progress, and the Greeley Stampede on June 22.
