Little interruption to highway traffic in one-vehicle accident west of Sidney

SIDNEY - Emergency officials responded to a single vehicle rollover on Highway 30 west of Sidney at 4:48 p.m. Sunday.
The accident was approximately a half mile east of the Highway 19 and Highway 30 intersection. The vehicle came to rest in the ditch south of the highway.
An eastbound SUV was traveling on U.S. 30 east of Sidney when a westbound vehicle, believed to be a small black pickup truck, entered the eastbound lane. The eastbound SUV went off the south side of U.S. 30 and rolled, coming to rest on its left side. The pickup did not stop for the accident and continued west on U.S. 30.
The Sidney Volunteer Fire Department, Cheyenne County Sheriff's office, Nebraska State Patrol, and Regional West Emergency Medical Services responded to the scene.
