Feuerborn retires from The Insurance Store
SIDNEY -- She spent more than 30 years with Cabela's. Then, in part because of her husband's business connections, she accepted an opportunity to work at The Insurance Store.
She came to The Insurance Store while in between jobs and found a good fit.
"I was between jobs. I came in here and Kay was great. She hired me right away. They're great people," she said.
This is coming to an end for Denise Feuerborn and she's moving on to other passions.
She has spent more than 10 years at The Insurance Store as bookkeeper and receptionist. She has the quiet personality that is welcoming and implies a person who knows how to keep documents in order.
"I loved the accounting part," she said of her 10 1/2 years with The Insurance Store.
Her interests outside of the office keep her busy. She is a mother of seven, grandmother of 25 and has a great-grandchild on the way.
She also has a passion for fly-fishing. Her favorite places to fish are Spearfish Canyon, and near Rapid City, S.D.
Her plans after leaving The Insurance Store are to move to Idaho. She has a passion for Latin Mass. She hopes the move to Idaho will allow her to follow her interests in Latin Mass and be closer to family.
