CHADRON – Jordan Bissonette threw four innings of no-hit baseball to propel the Chadron Post 12 FNBO Nationals to a 16-1, four-inning win over the Sidney Seniors Tuesday night in Chadron. Bissonette struck out five and walked two while giving up one unearned run to get the win.

Chadron scored three runs on three hits in the first inning and five runs on four hits in the second inning to take an 8-0 lead and chase Sidney starter John Meza after an inning and two-thirds. The Nationals scored in all four innings while pounding out 11 hits on the night. Kobe Bissonette led the Chadron going three for four at the plate with a double and a triple.

Sidney’s only run of the game came in the third inning when Connor Hurt bunted and reached on an error by Jordan Bissonette. Hurt advanced to second after Bissonette hit a batter with a pitch. Hurt stole second and scored on an error by the Nationals third baseman Derek Bissonette.

The Sidney Seniors will be back on the diamond in the Alliance Senior Tournament beginning Wednesday and running through Sunday in Alliance.
