Report: Tornadoes damage buildings in Kimball, Laramie Counties

SIDNEY - A pair of tornadoes are being blamed for damage to structures in Albin, Wyo. Monday night.
Fire and Rescue Departments reported tornado damage to a structure at County Road 222 and State Highway 216 at 7:17 p.m.
The twisters were two of several tornadoes to touch down during a third severe weather event in less than a week for the Nebraska Panhandle and southeast Wyoming.

Another structure was damaged near the Kimball Airport and multiple power lines were knocked down at Oliver Reservoir in Kimball County, because of tornadoes. Three different tornadoes were reported south of Kimball from 8:15 p.m. to 8:30 p.m.
Two other tornadoes were spotted in Laramie County. A tornado touched down near Gun Barrel at 6:44 p.m. and trained weather spotters reported a large rain-wrapped twister at 7:14 p.m.
Storm chasers reported a brief tornado northwest of Peetz, Colo., in the Nebraska Panhandle, at 9 p.m.

90 mph wind speeds helped overturn pivots near Gun Barrel at 8 p.m. A wind gust of 63 mph was registered eight miles southeast of Sidney at 10:55 p.m.

Hail the size of tennis balls smashed vehicle windows in Bushnell at 8:15 p.m. Emergency management also reported hail the size of baseballs falling 12 miles southeast of Kimball at 8:36 p.m. Tennis ball size hail also fell three miles southeast of Kimball. Hail the size of tea cups fell south of Dix and at Oliver Reservoir with 60 mph winds.
