LODGEPOLE -- A cement truck went off the road near Lodgepole at 9:32 a.m. Monday, July 10, spilling the contents but the driver escaped injury.

Cassandra Moul, of Sidney, was driving a 2017 Kenworth cement truck west on Highway 30 when it went off the road about six-tenths of a mile west of Cheyenne County Road 147. Moul reported to Sheriff's deputies that "something sucked her off the highway to the right," according to the accident report.

The truck was then brought back onto the road and turned back and forth before turning on its side and sliding to a stop in the north barrow ditch. The truck spilled its load of wet cement into the ditch.

No citation was issued.
