SIDNEY -- Macey Roelle has been involved in 4-H since she was old enough to join. She has been busy in the kitchen almost as long.

Monday she showed her skills with three plates of desserts.

"I made some brownies, and I decorated some cupcakes. I decorated the cupcakes as some cows and I made s'mores brownies. I'm super-excited to see how they turn out," Roelle said Monday afternoon.

She will be a sophomore at Leyton High School this fall, and says she enjoys the many opportunities of being a 4-H member. She has been in 4-H since she was in Kindergarten, the starting age for 4-H.

This year, there are 390 entries in Open Class with about 70 participants. 4-H entries, including animals, numbers 1,200 with 170 4-H members.
