SCOTTSBLUFF, Neb. (KNEP) - The City of Scottsbluff has approved a loan agreement to help redevelop the Lincoln House.

On Monday, the Scottsbluff City Council took action on approving a new agreement that will transfer a Community Development Block Grant from GLS Properties LLC to Chrisman Development. The agreement will still have the Lincoln House be redeveloped. The Lincoln House will still be a low to medium income housing project.

The agreement will have Chrisman Development purchase the rights to redevelop the Lincoln House for $49.163.40.

“This is what we do is preservation these types of properties, preservation of realties with rural development to keep these types of apartments available for long durations of time in those communities,” said a representative from Chrisman Development, David Pace.
