New sign unveiled at The Panther Activity Center
LODGEPOLE -- When traveling through Lodgepole, be sure and stop by the Panther Activity Center and take a look at the new signage.
Trinity Oliverius, a member of the Lodgepole Community Fund Advisory Committee, volunteered to design a couple options while the Lodgepole Visions group also provided an option.
The Village of Lodgepole narrowed the options down to two designs and then the public voted. The sign pictured was the winner and it was recently installed by Laurie and Kyle Abrams, Terry and Rick Christensen and Jerry Dickinson. The Lodgepole Community Fund covered the cost of the new sign.
The Panther Activity Center (PAC) is the former Lodgepole High School. The Village of Lodgepole purchased the building a few years ago and moved the village offices to its new location in 2022. The PAC is used extensively by the community.
The Lodgepole Community Fund has an account set up specifically for the upkeep and maintenance of the PAC.
Individuals who wish to donate to this account can receive a charitable tax receipt. Contact the Village office or a Lodgepole Community Fund committee member if you are interested in learning more.
