Authorities identify three people involved in two-vehicle injury accident near Lodgepole

LODGEPOLE - Two people involved in a two-vehicle accident near Lodgepole were transported by medical helicopter to hospitals in Scottsbluff and Greeley Thursday morning.
Cheyenne County Sheriff Adam Frerichs says a preliminary investigation indicated a 2018 Chevrolet Silverado, driven by Angela Barry, 43, of North Platte, was traveling west on U.S. Highway 30 when she crossed the center line into oncoming traffic and collided head-on with an eastbound 2008 Chevrolet Silverado near the intersection of Hwy. 30 and Cleveland St. at approximately 8:47 a.m..
The Chevy Silverado was being driven by John Grabowski, 45, of Sidney. His passenger was Kameron Schrum, 23, of Sidney.
Both Grabowski and Barry had to be extricated from their vehicles, according to Frerichs. He says Grabowski was transported by medical helicopter to Regional West Medical Center in Scottsbluff. A medical helicopter transported Barry to a medical facility in Greeley, Colo. The status of their injuries was not immediately available.
Schrum was treated and released at the scene.
An investigation into the crash is ongoing.
Members of the Cheyenne County Sheriff's Office, Nebraska State Patrol, Lodgepole Volunteer Fire Department, Sidney Volunteer Fire Department, Morrill County EMS, Deuel County Volunteer Fire Department EMS, Air Link from Scottsbluff and Air Life Denver from Colorado all responded to the scene.
