CHEYENNE COUNTY -- Two vehicles collided near the intersection of Cheyenne County Roads 111 and 32 at 6:56 a.m. Wednesday.

Nancy Rowlett, of Lodgepole, was driving a 2021 Jeep Grand Cherokee west on Cheyenne County Road 32 at 6:56 a.m. Wednesday, October 18, as Nicholas Casanova Gallegos, of Potter, was also driving a 2009 Ford Crown Victoria west on County Road 32.  

According to the accident report, Rowlett had activated her left turn signal to turn south on County Road 111. A third vehicle between Rowlett and Gallegos had activated the right turn signal to turn north on County Road 111. 

Gallegos saw the middle vehicle attempting a northbound turn and attempted to pass on the left, colliding with the rear of Rowlett’s Jeep. The Jeep was spun 180 degrees, and came to rest facing northeast.  

Both drivers were checked by EMS and reported no injuries.  

The accident report shows the Crown Victoria was totaled and the Jeep sustained an estimated $5,000 damage.
