GERING, Neb. (KNEP) - Gering Police Department’s K-9 unit receives a protective vest.
Rosco, who is the Gering Police Department’s K-9 has received a bullet and stab protective vest from the non-profit Vested Interest in K9.
Rosco’s vest was sponsored by Don and Misty Fike of Galesburg, IL and embroidered with the sentiment “Born to Love-Trained to Serve-Loyal Always”.
Vested Interest in K9 provides bullet and stab protective vests and other assistance to dogs of law enforcement and related agencies throughout the United States. Each vest is custom fitted to each K-9.
