GORDON - Junior Reagan Stracke finished with 10 kills and two ace serves and the Stuart volleyball team defeated Leyton in four sets to clinch their third consecutive birth in the Nebraska School Activities Association state volleyball championships in Lincoln this week. 

Senior Lacey Paxton added nine kills and the Broncos ended with 24 kills and 6 aces. 

Leyton junior Sydney Fortune eclipsed 1,000 career assists with 15 assists in the season-ending loss. She also added 8 kills and 2 blocks. 

Senior Trinity Beutler led the Warriors with 11 kills and a block. Junior Shawnee Gamble added seven kills, a block and an ace serve. 

Leyton finishes the season 27-6.
