SIDNEY - Authorities discovered methamphetamine and other drug paraphernalia while investigating a single-vehicle accident southwest of Sidney Sunday. 

The Nebraska State Patrol says Christy Pinatelli, 28, of Sidney, was driving a four-door sedan with three other occupants north on Cheyenne County Road 19a when she lost control and the vehicle went off the west side of the road north of County Road 107 at approximately 11:52 a.m. The car went through a fence before coming to a stop. 

Pinatelli was transported by medical ambulance with non-life-threatening injuries. She was cited for possession of a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia.

A passenger, Jimmy Adams-Wassler, 28, of Sidney, was arrested for possession of a controlled substance. 

The Cheyenne County Sheriff's Office also responded to the scene.
