DALTON – Zaili Benish captured her 1,000-career point in a 64-27 win over Potter-Dix Tuesday night.
Junior Zaili Benish eclipsed 19 points while capturing her 1,000 career points within the first quarter and helped the warriors capture a 64-27 win over the Coyotes.
Junior Sydney Fortune ended the night with 12 points and senior Claire Watchorn added 11 of her own.
As a team Leyton made 6 threes and shot 5-10 from the free throw line.
Potter-Dix was led by senior Madison Williamson who captured 16 points and junior Crystal Dhooge added nine of her own.
The Warriors stay undefeated at 5-0 and will face Arthur County (2-3) Tuesday, Dec 19. The Coyotes fall to 1-4 and will face Caliche, CO on Thursday, Dec 14.
Sophomore Dylan Tabor led the way for Potter-Dix boys’ team as he finished with 17 points before fouling out late in the fourth quarter to help the Coyotes capture a 50-39 victory over Leyton.
Senior Brayden Kasten added 14 points while senior Caden McConnell chipped in 10.
Leyton was led by senior Jonathan Kruse and sophomore Alec Watchorn who finished the game with 11 each.
Senior Kaleb Borges chipped in 9 of his own.
The Coyotes advance their record to 3-2 and will face Caliche, CO on Thursday, Dec 14. The Warriors fall to 2-3 and will travel to Arthur to play 2-3 Wolves.
