Relocating to Kimball in 2013, she eventually found a home at Park Terrace, a retirement community in Kimball. Christina's interests were diverse, from painting to collecting owls and indulging in the intrigue of the TV show Oak Island. Her family was her anchor, and she cherished moments fishing and camping at Glendo Reservoir. The allure of Central City, Colorado's slot machines also brought her joy. Christina Claire Nickerson is remembered with love and survived by her daughter Sally (Mike) Gallegos of Thornton, CO; sisters Susan Lee and Dixie (Wayne) Cate both of Oregon; 5 grandchildren, and 7 great grandchildren.  She was preceded in death by her parents.
