Sedgwick County Lady Cougars top Leyton 51-40 and went 6/6 from the free throw line in the fourth quarter to finish the game. Junior Abigail Dille finished the a game high of 31 points, 20 of which coming in the 1st half. 

Sophomore Lainee Nein added 12 points, 7 of those coming in the fourth quarter. 

As a team the Cougars shot 42% from the floor and went 13/17 from the line shooting 76%. Sedgwick County also grabbed 28 total rebounds. 

Leyton was led by the junior Zaili Benish who finished with 16 points and junior Shawnee Gamble who chipped in 12 points.

The Warriors knocked down 7 3's and totaled 17 rebounds. 

Sedgwick County will improve their record to 12-1 and travel to Holyoke CO and face the Dragons (4-9) Friday, Feb 2nd. Leyton will fall to 16-3 and host Creek Valley (3-10) Friday, Feb 2nd. 

 

Sedgwick County shot 52% from the floor to capture a 58-27 win over Leyton. Junior Jace Ehmke finished with a game high of 14 points while junior Jaxon Carlson ended with 12. 

Senior Cameron Hackbart chipped in 10 points. 

The Cougars shot 52% from the floor and grabbed 24 rebounds and 5 steals throughout the game. 

Leyton was led by senior Kaleb Borges with 7 points. 

Sedgwick County improves to 6-7 and be on the road at Holyoke and face the 8-5 Dragons Friday, Feb 2. The Warriors fall to 9-10 and will host the Storm (3-10) Friday, Feb 2,
