DALTON - Leyton junior Zaili Benish finished with a game-high 29 points and the Warriors advanced to their second-straight district final with a 62-17 victory over Potter-Dix in the Class D2-11 Subdistrict Championship in Dalton on Thursday night. 

Benish hit four three-pointers in the game. The Warriors (21-3) shot 48% from the floor. 

Junior Sydney Fortune added 11 points. Junior Kaydence Haupt had 8 of Leyton's 25 steals. 

Coyotes junior Crystal Dhooge finished with 9 points. Potter-Dix finishes the season at 7-14.

Leyton hosts Paxton in the Class D2-6 District Final next Friday. No time has been announced. The Warriors are one win away from returning to the NSAA state tournament in Lincoln for the second year in-a-row and for the fifth time in school history.
